World Rivers is a global collaboration uniting people through the element of water. Individuals from around the world dip white fabric in selected rivers. The fabric is then sewn together into a magnificent curtain. International participants, like rivers flowing to the ocean, join together to form a larger whole.

Located just west of the Rock River in the rolling hills surrounding the Kickapoo Mud Creek, this newly founded nature conservancy occupies an idyllic 60 acre site. Thoughtfully integrated with the historically facinating town of Oregon, Illinois, this educational center has been formed to preserve the ecological balance of man, nature and wildlife. A vale running between heavily wooded hills is bisected by the Kickapoo Mud Creek which cuts through its center like a ribbon of gently flowing water. Residents of this newly formed nature conservancy include deer, red fox, wild turkey, hawks, and an encyclopedic variety of native birds.
